So this morning I started a paper journal. Every morning I am going to weigh myself, record the weight, and write a few thoughts about how I want the day to go.|
Today is going pretty well.
Breakfast was a plain Thomas' bagel with 2 tbsp whipped cream cheese. (8 points).
I had a Kudos bar (2 points) for a morning snack.
I plan to have a Lean Cuisine Panini (6 points) and some grapes (1 point) for lunch.
I also have an orange (1 point) and a pear (1 point) for afternoon snacks.
Dinner is going to be beef stew which is about 8 points, along with a piece of french bread (2 points).
Yesterday I went grocery shopping and stocked up on ingredients to make healthy recipes. If I can cook meals as planned, write down what I eat, and keep snacks under control (sensible amounts, sensible times, and sensible snacks), I should be ok.
Meals planned for this next week are:
- Turkey veggie chili.
- Eggs scrambled with spinach, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, and lowfat cheese.
- Dhal (lentil) soup.
- Spinach baked ziti (lowfat ingredients).
Snacks are fat free yogurt, Kudos bars, fresh fruit, and the occasional pudding cup. I might also make some oatmeal-banana bread.
