|Today I ate sensibly

Today I ate sensibly and I'm grateful that I was able to do so.
For breakfast I decided to pick up food because I had to be at work early. I got bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant, and a large coffee with cream and splenda. Normally I would get an extra large coffee with cream & lots of sugar, and consider getting something sugary to eat, like a muffin, or maybe even a muffin and a doughnut.
I wasn't hungry again until lunchtime, which was great. I expected it to be harder to wait until lunchtime to want to eat. For lunch I had a microwave bowl of Italian Wedding soup, a yogurt, and a cup of fresh fruit salad, and a Diet Coke.
At around 4 or so, I was getting very hungry. I decided to have a banana.
When I got home from work, I spent a little time reading. Then I went ahead and started cooking. I had planned to make chicken fajitas but our onions had somehow gone bad. Really bad. So instead I made Annie's Organic Macaroni and Cheese and a tossed salad with spring mix & cucumbers. While the Macaroni and Cheese isn't the healthiest choice, I was happy that I was able to have a smaller portion than I normally would.
After dinner I had a couple of glasses of water and a nectarine.
All in all, a good day. Now if only I could get up the motivation to do some laundry.
